BUUIC Delegates Attend the Management Meeting and Workshop on Development of the System of the Assessment of Research Impact II in Warsaw, Poland

​Assist. Prof. Dr. Suwanna Rasmequan, Acting Dean of Burapha University International College, and Ms. Waraporn Theerasak, Foreign Affairs team member and Chair of B.A. Program, attended the Management Meeting and Workshop on Development of the System of the Assessment of Research Impact II at SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Poland from 6 – 8 March 2019. The purposes of the meeting and the workshop were to present each institution’s result of SAIQoR pilot implementation which data collected from 2016 – 2018 and to discuss how SAIQoR can be adjusted in different disciplines and countries. Hopefully, the final version of SAIQoR will be able to be implemented universally and especially at Burapha University. Moreover, the development of policy paper was also discussed and it will be led by Prof. Arkadiuz Kowalski from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and co-developed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Suwanna Rasmequan and Ms. Waraporn Theerasak from BUUIC as well as Assist. Prof. Dr. Sid Suntrayuth from ICO NIDA.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia and Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia

Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, prof. Ferdinand Dano, PhD. will welcome  the delegation from the University Teknologi MARA, Malaysia on 3rd July  2019. The main purpose of the visit is to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between both institutions as a way to ensure the sustainability of the cooperation. Currently, the University of Economics in Bratislava and Universitit Teknologi MARA cooperate on the implementation of the CBHE Erasmus+ project  "Assessing and Improving Research Performance at South East Asian Universities" (REPESEA) and cooperate in the preparation of other joint projects.

Obituary for John Hudson

With sadness in our hearts we regret to inform REPESEA friends and colleagues that the coordinator and the Steering Committee member of the REPESEA project at the University of Bath, UK, Professor John Hudson, PhD, suddenly passed away on Friday, July 13th, 2018.
