Dr. Alistair Hunt 
University of Bath, United Kingdom

Dr. Alistair Hunt is a Lecturer in Environmental Economics at the University of Bath, UK. Prior to this, he worked in the UK Department of Environment as a Government Economist. Alistair’s current research is mainly empirical and focuses primarily on climate change and air quality, and is therefore very much concerned with generating impact with regulatory authorities as well as the wider public.

Associate Professor Dr. Adis Israngkura works at the School of Development Economics, National Institute of Development Administration. Adis Israngkura has research Interests in fields of Cost Benefit Analysis, Environmental Economics, Environmics Valuation and Public Policy. He received Ph.D from Economics at the North Carolina State University, USA, Master degree (Economics) and Bachelor degree (Economics) at the University of Canterbury, N.Z.

Prof. Juraj Nemec, PhD
Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia

Prof. Juraj Nemec is full time Professor of Public Finance and Public Management at the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic and part time Professor at the Faculty of Economics at Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, with 35 years’ experience in teaching on pre-graduate, graduate and doctoral levels.

In 2016 he was elected as the President of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee), his term finished in May 2018. He is the Vice-President of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (expected 2013-2019) and the project director of the IASIA permanent working group. He served as the regional Vice-President of the International Research Society for Public Management during 2010-2017 and as a member of the Accreditation Committee of the European Association of Public Administration Accreditation until 2015 (now he is EAPAA Board member). He is member of the Commitee of Experts on Public Administration (United Nations).

Prof. Nemec has published over 400 books and scientific articles in this field and filled several academic posts, including the position of ‘Dean of the Faculty of Finance’. In 2010, he received the NISPAcee Alena Brunovska Award for his research. In 2016 he received the DC Stone Award honouring a distinguished international scholar for advancing the well-being of IASIA.

Prof. Nemec has also extensive advisory and consultancy expertise in various transition countries. In his assignments in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine he carried out activities in the field of public procurement as well as assistance in institution building and development. 

As a key advisor to the governments of Slovakia and the Czech Republic he supported all levels of public administration in the areas of public administration reform, health care reform and improvement of public procurement systems, prior and after their accession to the European Union.

Dr. Bernardinus Maria Purwanto, M.B.A.
Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia

Dr. Purwanto earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from University of the Philippines, Philippines, in 2001; Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and International Finance from Western Michigan University, MI, United States of America, in 1991; and Bachelor in Economics (SE) from Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada [FEB UGM], in 1986. In 1992, Dr. Purwanto also attended a short-course in Local Government Finance, Institute of Local Government, Development Administration Group at University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Currently, Dr. Purwanto is an Associate Professor at FEB UGM. Dr. Purwanto also entrusted to hold several positions in his career as an academician and a researcher, for example, Resource Person of Directorate of Quality Assurance, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia (2017-Present); Mentor of AACSB International Accreditation (2015-Present); ABEST21 International Accreditation Reviewer (2012-Present); Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs FEB UGM (2013-2016); and Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Community Service FEB UGM (2009-2012).

Dr. Purwanto has a keen interest in academic and practical research in the field of Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing, and Consumer Behaviour. He has published 29 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. Since the beginning of his career, Dr. Purwanto engaged in numerous reasearch, training, and consulting activities with prominent institutions and companies in Indonesia, such as Bank Indonesia, Deposit Insurance Company, Toyota Astra Motor, Unilever Indonesia, and Indosat Ooredoo. He also actively contributes as a resource person in various seminars, workshops, conferences, and annual meetings.
